New office spaces are coming to the Belle de Mai Media Center

Founder of a start-up involved in the French Tech movement, then head of his own holding company and vice-president of French PropTech launched in 2018, Nordine El Ouachmi shows unfailing dynamism in the real estate sector integrating all the current trends with regard to workspace layouts! Since 2016 and the official launch of his Bureaux & Co brand, his concept has been rolled out throughout France.
Over a period of 5 years, the company has opened 15 sites with the aim of covering the South of France. Supported by Provence Promotion and the City of Marseille, the first project in the city, housed in the Belle de Mai Media Center within the confines of the Euroméditerranée initiative, is underway. More than a hundred workstations will be available in 2022 with a mixed offer of coworking spaces, flex offices and private offices.

At a time when companies are adapting the setup of their workplaces and the teleworking trend is accelerating, Bureaux & Co is positioning itself as an expert in turnkey solutions for the self-employed, SMEs and large groups.

Since creating a digital platform to match searches for office space with vacant premises, the start-up Burostation has evolved into a holding company to support the Bureaux & Co concept: attractive work spaces combining all the professional services of a business center with particular care given to layout.

In 2020, the company decided to open a location in Marseille, and Provence Promotion offered its local support by suggesting sites in which it could set up. “Aix-Marseille-Provence is an essential destination for our development in the south,” declares Nordine El Ouachmi, founder and CEO of Bureaux & Co. “We are very attached to this project, which we decided to open at the Belle de Mai Media Center following the various viewings organized by Provence Promotion.”

The opening of the new space, covering 1,000 m2, is scheduled for the first half of 2022 and represents an investment of 700,000 euros. True to the company’s reputation, Bureaux & Co Marseille will offer a very attractive working environment, ideal for the self-employed and executives alike.

“We are focusing on contemporary spaces with metal beams and large bay windows, much like an artist’s studio, all with the essential ‘Mediterranean touch’” says Nordine El Ouachmi enthusiastically. “The site will offer coworking stations but also flexible spaces that can be adapted to specific business needs.”

Now part of a community of companies investing in Provence, Nordine El Ouachmi received the “Invest in Provence” label at the 2021 Grand Bain event organized by La French Tech Aix-Marseille Region Sud.

A shift toward ultra-digital, professional third places

Bureaux & Co is evolving with the times and its acquired experience. Its ambition is to open larger sites designed to be like real ‘living places’. It is a model that is now more resemblant of professional third places, integrating both shared and individualized offices but also restaurants, gyms, concierge services, and friendly meeting areas to offer a dynamic and entertaining space for different user profiles as well as events for the general public.

Building on its successes, Bureaux & Co began a partnership with Groupe IDEC in March 2021. Alongside this venture, the company is continuing to develop its SaaS solution Coworkiz, which aims to digitize the management of these multifunction sites, making it more flexible.

To duplicate his model, Nordine El Ouachmi is looking for more real estate in major cities including Aix-Marseille-Provence, a project that will offer significant development potential for the young workers and corporate businesses that it targets.

The networking of sites is also on the horizon, offering each member of the Bureaux & Co community the possibility of reserving their work space based on their travel plans and needs. With its real estate entity, Bureaux & Co plans to purchase premises to renovate or land on which to build.
