Opening of a branch near Aix-en-Provence

On June 1, 2021, IXCYS and 6XPOS, two companies specializing in software publishing and the sale of new generation cash registers, established themselves under the umbrella pines of the La Duranne business park in Aix-en-Provence. This new branch fuels the ambition to revolutionize both order-taking and payment methods in restaurants. An establishment greatly facilitated by the meeting with Provence Promotion, as explained by Emmanuel Gonzalez, CEO and founder of the two companies.

Dynamic QR Codes, contactless payment and touchless ordering, click and collect, etc. These new habits have become more generalized as a result of the health crisis and have arrived at the tables of French restaurants. To support them, help them take the plunge and put an end to the endless queues in restaurants when it comes to paying the bill, Emmanuel Gonzalez founded two companies in 2009.

 I isolated my R&D within the digital services company IXCYS. It is a niche in which we have developed specific programs, white label cash register solutions and back offices for Carrefour, Picard, Eurobanking, CrediPro, etc. Customers were so satisfied that, in 2016, we launched our own solutions that we market within 6XPOS. Customers order on screens without even touching them. In the kitchens, the chefs immediately receive the information on the screens and the payment is made in a completely dematerialized way , explains the manager who opened his seventh sales branch in France in June 2021, near Aix-en-Provence, in the La Duranne business park.

A success story that whets the appetite of investment funds

In the 80 sq.m branch and showroom, customers have plenty of time to test and discover the very latest technological innovations in order taking and payment methods. On site, four employees of IXCYS and 6XPOS were recruited via the network of the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolitan area's economic development agency.

“Thanks to Provence Promotion, doors open easily. We meet people we would not have thought of contacting otherwise. That allowed us to save time in terms of human resources, the search for real-estate, and the financial aspect” , explains Emmanuel Gonzalez.

This 100% French success story has whetted the appetite of investment funds. In March 2021, the AUBE Management family office became a shareholder alongside Région Sud Investissement. They inject more than €3 million into the capital. “We are going to recruit 50 people over the next six months, continue our expansion in Paris and the French regions, focusing on restaurants that are not more than 50 km from our branches” , 6XPOS has 120 clients including the chocolate maker Patrick Roger, the new fast-food chains (Str'eat Burger, Nobi Nobi, JT Pizza, G33, HFC, CFC, etc.) and natively integrates the Uber Eats and Deliveroo platforms. Its head office is based in Saint-Bonnet en Champsaur, in the Hautes-Alpes.
