An Interview with Renaud Vincentelli

Discovering innovative medications through the study of venoms, a source of new molecules, is the aim of the four-year European VENOMICS project started in 2011. With a six million Euro budget, the project has brought together eight academic and private sector partners from five European countries. In the South of France, it’s the biotechnology firm VenomeTech (Sophia Antipolis) that is coordinating the project, one in which the AFMB at Luminy (Marseille) is an active participant.
