First "Pitch & Brunch" the Thursday May 17 last at Aix-en-Provence Conservatory. A dozen companies was attended.

A series of themed brunches designed to help local businesses and provide solutions for the issues they face!

On Thursday May 17 last, Provence Promotion and the City of Aix-en-Provence Culture Department invited around a dozen companies to the Aix-en-Provence Conservatory for a forum on all topics surrounding mobility, an issue that can act as a barrier to development for some companies after deciding to locate to the region.

Within this theme, the main speeches and discussions focused on banking, financial and HR mobility, with two specialists present to provide input. The first, Mr. Laurent GALLISSOT, diplomatic advisor to the Prefect, moderated a conference on HR mobility, presenting and answering questions on the Passeport Talent scheme, an important measure for the various foreign companies setting up in the region. The second, Romain LESSARD of the CIC bank, presented several subjects on the theme of financial mobility, fielding questions from the audience of business people on subjects such as opening accounts on arrival in France, applications for financing etc.

"This type of event is important, since it brings together heads of companies, people who have -or are planning- an international project, a vital element for a diplomat. This first Pitch & Brunch allowed me to better understand the needs and expectations of those who contribute to our region's and country's attractiveness on a daily basis." explained Laurent Gallissot at the close of the conference.

In the end, around two dozen people were able to obtain information about the various schemes offered by the region's institutions and exchange with some of the many stakeholders who give the region its vitality over brunch. A great opportunity to boost a project and one's network!

The next edition, the theme of which is still to be decided, will take place in September.
