For a more efficient and forceful delivery of information

If most economic development agencies are reinforcing their presence on the Web, Provence Promotion has decided to go a step further by launching its interactive communication strategy aimed at the social networks.

In addition to enhancing its visibility on Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter, Provence Promotion is now looking to use the social networks to maximize the exchange of information via its Web 2.0 tools.

Its aims are to:

  • regularly provide entrepreneurs with selected information on Provence’s economy and the opportunities available in the region;
  • provide a voice on the social networks for entrepreneurs who have set up in the region;
  • showcase Provence Promotion’s expertise in the three main services it provides: assistance to entrepreneurs creating, taking over or relocating a business locally;
  • expand its network of local, national and international partners;
  • identify and support new projects.

To this end, the Provence Promotion website now provides sharing features linked to the various social networks, allowing visitors to circulate any information considered pertinent within their circle of friends.

The initiative will also mean that information published on the website is systematically relayed to the professional pages  of sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.

This approach, similar to viral marketing, is part of a strategy of distributing information according to targeted audience, content and each social network’s specific position. In this way, Provence Promotion underlines its intention of adapting its communication to the way its target audiences use the networks.

Over time, and in collaboration with the natural referencing specialist and web marketing agency Trafic d'Influence (www.trafic-influence.com), Provence Promotion will be optimizing all its communication tools in the search of even better efficiency and more forcefulness.

The strategy, which underscores Provence Promotion’s involvement in the social networks, will eventually enable it to acquire the full range of inbound marketing tools:
