The company will develop its future projects at its new headquarters in the heart of the city

The historic building in Aix-en-Provence where the celebrated composer Darius Milhaud once lived is now opening its doors to the future. onepoint, which is one of France’s leading digital transformation consultancies, will be moving to the site in June 2023 with its team of 50 talented employees. Located in the city’s center, the Maison Darius Milhaud has been transformed into a state-of-the-art workplace dedicated to collective intelligence and innovation. It will also be a dynamic space for the general public thanks to an ambitious program of professional, cultural, and artistic events. onepoint is reaching new heights in the southeast of France thanks to this initiative for new headquarters that was supported by Provence Promotion and Pays d'Aix Développement since the beginning of the project. The combination of artistic heritage and pioneering technology will inspire creativity and attract talent!

By choosing to set up shop in the Maison Darius Milhaud in Aix-en-Provence, onepoint has made it a point of honor to infuse this heritage site with all the company’s values: authenticity, openness, elegance, commitment, and courage.

David Zouari, who is responsible for the onepoint community in the southeast of France, is the leader of this new location in Aix-en-Provence. This will be the group’s 7th site in France and its 16th in the world since David Layani founded the digital consulting company in 2002.

“Very early on, David Layani, the founder of onepoint, chose to have a true presence in the different territories and to refuse any type of outsourcing,” explains David Zouari. “To address strategic transformation issues within organizations, it is essential to be close to our clients.” David Zouari joined the company almost 11 years ago, and he spent six years developing the onepoint network in Canada, which is an important community for the global company that is also present in Belgium, Australia, Singapore, the United States, and Africa.

By employing 3300 talents around the world that are organized into communities of experts, onepoint favors a cross-functional approach to projects. The company offers its clients a comprehensive support model that integrates the entire digital transformation value chain, from the upstream strategic consulting to the organizational and technological implementation to the adoption of new processes within teams.

Provence Promotion helped us from the beginning and has played a key role in our setting up here. We began thinking about the project in 2020 when Covid was an issue, so as soon as it was possible, the agency organized visits to different sites for us. We have also benefited from numerous contacts with major local stakeholders such as the City of Aix-en-Provence, Pays d'Aix Développement, members of Upe 13 and the Top 20 business networks, Aix-Marseille University, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis, the Campus Privé, and thecamp,” says David Zouari.

one point’s Aix headquarters will open in the spring of 2023

We opted to set up in a place where talented people want to work and are able to flourish. Aix-en-Provence was chosen because of the quality of life in the area, its attractiveness to talents, and the access we had to exceptional premises such as the Maison Darius Milhaud at the base of the Cours Mirabeau, which Provence Promotion helped us to identify,” adds David Zouari.

Entirely refurbished while respecting the building’s heritage materials, the Maison Darius Milhaud features 1000 square meters of floor space split across three levels. Ideally located in the city center, it will be divided into several carefully designed spaces that will facilitate co-creation and innovation: offices adapted to new ways of working, an innovation laboratory to experiment with positive uses of digital technology, and several rooms for meetings and inspiring events.

This unique space will welcome talents, partners, students, start-ups, and a mix of national and international clients to share diverse and collaborative experiences.

When onepoint’s new offices open in June, they will be home to 50 people.

Attracting talent and creating opportunities in digital transformation

Digital talent is highly sought after in the employment market. By opening its location in Aix-en-Provence, onepoint wants to facilitate recruitment and attract the right people by offering them a living environment that allows them to combine professional and personal well-being. This embrace of work-life balance underpins the company’s ambitions to recruit 300 people in the region by 2026.

As an architect of major digital transformations for private companies, public agencies, and government administrations, onepoint also offers its talents the opportunity to work on high-value-added projects with different groups of experts depending on the client (designers, architects, technology and business specialists, experts in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, etc.). The company uses a horizontal working structure to foster creativity, while the search for synergies is widely encouraged as a way to generate innovations.

Another special feature of onepoint is its training center that is dedicated to the continuous development of skills. onepoint allows both its talents and its clients to develop their expertise. Our training programs aim to create new careers with a strong focus on design, CSR, data, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation management,” concludes David Zouari.

Major corporations such as CMA CGM, AGPM, and La Française des Jeux already work regularly with onepoint, which also provides services to medium-sized companies across the region. In 2022, onepoint had a turnover of €500 million.
