The "Cultural Industries and Heritage" centre on its way to labelling
"Industries culturelles et patrimoines (Cultural industries and heritage)" is unique in its field in France, and its ambition is to build up a centre based on culture … Its cradle is the Arles district and its godmother is the PACA region, and it has had a unique infancy;  a unique heritage certified by classification of 4 historic sites in the Unesco world heritage, first class archaeological and artistic collections, internationally renowned festivals and cultural events and the presence of companies working on and around culture.
As emphasized by Eric Lanzalavi, President of the candidature committee (and the Reprographie du Soleil company):  all that was necessary to create this centre was to "close the loop comprising wealth of our buildings heritage, our natural and cultural heritage, and engineering of culture …"
