The world competitive cluster Secure Communication Solutions (SCS)
With 290 million Euros invested since 2006 in R & D, the SCS cluster - "From Silicon to applications" - is the product of the combined synergies and expertise of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur (PACA) major ICT industry players, universities, schools and many SMEs in the field.
Their objective, in line with the label of 'world competitiveness cluster’ they have been awarded, "is to make the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region a leader in the most reliable and secure solutions for transmitting, processing and exchanging information.
The SCS Cluster's mission is to contribute to innovation policies and:
- Promote the emergence of innovative cooperative projects
- Support the development of SMEs
- Participate in the creation of an ecosystem suitable for the overall regional development of ICT.
With the help of the State and the Region, the SCS cluster helps invest more than 100 million Euros a year in shared research programs.
