- The ISEMA (Institut Supérieur Européen de Management Agro-Alimentaire) offers post-secondary degrees in partnership with Euromed Management and the ISARA Lyon schools. The curriculum brings together renowned business school courses with courses specialized in the food industry. www.isema.fr

- The ESIL (Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Luminy), in Marseille offers a vocational Bachelor’s degree (MIAA) specializing in Microbiology in the Food Industry. This degree trains professionals in food safety and quality, as well as the management of biological processes and food risks. www.esil.univmed.fr

- Several organizations have joined efforts to offer an annual skills development program: FRIAA; CRITT (Centre Régional d'Innovation et de Transfert de Technologie  - Regional Center for Innovation and the Transfer of Technology) specialized in the food industry; IFRIA (Organisme de formation aux métiers de l’Industrie Agroalimentaire – Training Organisation for Careers in the Food Industry, providing training through work/study programs); FRCA (Fédération Régionale des Coopératives Agricoles – Regional Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives), and the UESS (Université Européenne Senteurs Saveurs – European University of Flavors and Fragrances). Program themes vary from industrial performance to innovation, food safety, nutrition, environment, automated production techniques, labor relations, management, marketing and trade.

- The AGEFAFORIA is the food industry’s local professional training organization. It advises and finances companies and employees for their training needs.
