Le Pôle Européen d’Innovation Fruits et Légumes (PEIFL) (European Innovation Cluster for Fruits and Vegetables)

The PEIFL is a competitive business cluster with more than 200 members who represent the full range of activities in the industry… seed suppliers, producers, food processing industrials, equipment providers, distributors, consumers, researchers and teachers. Its mission is to bring together all regional industry players around the pursuit of common goals.

Share goals:

- Enhance the industry’s competitiveness through innovation with new varieties, practices, technologies, packaging, products, distribution methods, etc.
-  Support the global challenge of major disease prevention through improved nutrition, fighting obesity, cardiovascular diseases and cancer, and by promoting the consumption of fresh and processed fruit and vegetables.

Foster solid common objectives:

- Create 1,000 jobs in the fruit and vegetable processing industry and in agricultural production and employment.
- Double the consumption of fruit and vegetables in France.

Work together:

- Promote the emergence of innovative projects and support new ventures
- Strengthen synergy between industry players
- Increase and improve competencies
- Support international development and visibility
- Inform and educate the general public

FRIAA – Fédération Régionale des Industries Agro-Alimentaires (Regional Federation of Food Industries)

FRIAA supports business competitiveness and the development of employment and new markets. Founded in 1988 by food industrials of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur administrative region, FRIAA is the largest and oldest regional food industry organization in France.
