Big names invest in Provence
L'Union des Industries Chimiques Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur (UIC – Chemical Industry Union of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur)
The UIC is the industry association that brings together chemical companies. It supports their development and represents and defends their interests in a number of areas.
UIC services are broken down into six areas of expertise: technical, economic, social, innovation, communication and legal. Its main mission is to identify the common interests of chemical companies and promote exchange among them so as to develop joint actions and statements.
UIC serves its member companies. It informs, advises and provides them with the necessary tools for the proper management of human resources and the application of the economic and technical regulations which concern them.

Le Centre Régional d’Innovation et de Transfert de Technologies de la région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfers)
The Chemical Industry CRITT of Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur was created with the support of professional organizations and institutions and works to facilitate access to innovation for chemical and plastics companies (especially SMEs) enabling them to advance both technologically and economically.
CRITT actions include:
- Monitoring of technology transfer projects between research laboratories and companies
- Evaluation and technical support for innovative projects
- Counsel and competitive intelligence
- Organization of seminars and events
The Chemical Industry CRITT also participated in the creation of the NOVACHIM PRIDES label, which promotes and consolidates the concept of "smart" chemistry :
- Development of Green Chemistry
- Facilitating of regulatory pressures
- Collaborative projects
- Trend-watch for new developments in human resources (employment and training)
