Provence Technology on Show in São Paulo

With 7.5% growth in 2010, Brazil today is the world’s seventh largest economy and France’s number one business partner in Latin America.

To develop business relations between the two countries and promote French technology, Ubifrance is organizing for the third year running a France-Brazil Innovation Forum, to be held in São Paulo from November 7-11, 2011.

Two French regions are supporting the event, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Nord-Pas de Calais. A delegation of 60 French firms -actively supported by OSEO- will be attending, to add to the more than 400 Brazilian companies expected at the forum. Several sectors are being represented: aerospace and defense, energy, biotechnology, health, agribusiness and ICT’s.

Provence Promotion, in partnership with the Marseille-Provence CCI, the Regional Economic Development Mission and the Marine, Pégase and POPSUD competitive clusters, has chosen to take the lead in meeting Brazilian industrialists wishing to set up a bridgehead in France.

These business meetings also provide Provence Promotion with the opportunity to promote our region’s expertise in fields such as aeronautics, marine engineering and optics-photonics and to present the tax advantages available for R&D in France.
