“ONCE wants to create a social network of entrepreneurs in a ‘forgotten’ area”

Founded a little over a year ago, the Marseillais association Organisation Nord Centre Entreprises Marseille (ONCE) today brings together more than 70 entrepreneurs, mainly artisans, independent professionals, VSE’s and SME’s, all based in the area between Marseilles’ center (top of the Canebière) and its northern boundaries. The association’s ambitions are to promote exchanges between forward-looking entrepreneurs, identify the major and not-so-major hurdles that businesses need to overcome and to be able to speak with one voice; in the words of its chairman, Bernard Pérales, “To see further than one’s back yard and to be seen by one’s neighbors, whether they’re in the same street, the same town or the same region”.
