BioFinance 2012 in Canada

The leading international BioFinance 2012 event is being held in Toronto on May 29 and 30 next The previous edition brought together 550 biotech companies over a two days period.

This year, the St. Andrew’s Club & Conference Centre will be the stage for more than 60 specialist companies in the fields of biology, medical devices, diagnostics, vaccines, biotechnology, pharmacy and biomaterials to present their projects to a panel of 14 investors. These investors (private equity funds, private equity investors and venture capital firms) will be able to offer tailored financing solutions that meet the sector companies’ requirements.

The scheduled conferences will feature CEOs, financial directors and executives from the sector’s market leaders as well as private and public investors, analysts and experts from the Canadian, American and European scientific communities.

Provence Promotion, a leading campaigner for Provence’s biotechnology industry, will be at the event to promote the region’s huge potential for innovation in the sector.

BioFinance 2012 is also a unique opportunity to present to industry professionals the financing possibilities provided by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region thanks to its latest fund-raising campaigns.

A series of targeted meetings will allow Matthieu VIS, the project manager for life sciences and health, to meet Canadian company representatives and identify innovating projects and opportunities for partnerships.
